Applications of high alumina universal arc firebrick
- High alumina universal arc refractory bricks have roundness at both ends, which can be adjusted by moving back and forth during bricklaying, so it is convenient to lay refractory bricks, and the brick joints can generally reach 1mm.
- The vertical joint of universal arc brick is smaller, which is 70% less than that of standard refractory brick. Thus, the erosion effect of molten iron layer moving up and down and penetrating into the joint can be corrected.
- Due to the improvement of refractory brick quality, the thickness of lining brick can be reduced, and the capacity of steel ladle can be increased accordingly.
- Due to the long service life and convenient bricklaying, the labor force for laying steel drums behind the furnace is reduced and the utilization rate of steel drums is improved.
